Installation requires basic re-wiring of the fixture but provides greater efficiency and less maintenance due to failed ballasts. They replace T8 and T12 fluorescent tubes with long-lasting, energy-saving LED. Each 4 ft tube produces 1800 Lumens of 5000 K daylight color temperature light using only 18 W - up to 44% less energy than a 32 W fluorescent lamp.
